BASE jump off the tallest building in Berlin

Another gem added to my Berlin treasure chest.

In 2022, I jumped Berlin's tallest building, the "Park Inn." In 2023, the new tallest  was the Amazon Tower. Now, in 2025,  Estrel Tower.

I watched this building grow up fast! I first caught wind that it was going to be the tallest 2 years ago.

So every visit to Berlin included a routine recce, patiently waiting for the perfect moment.

Even when structurally topped out, something didn't feel right without its glass facade fully in place. But this month, the tower had matured, it was time to strike.

Climbing at night. I sat at the top of the building watching the sunrise over Berlin.

at 4am I started to become anxious, despite what my calculations said I was concerned that I was not going to hit my primary landing area and have to land on my contingency which was one of the more busy roads which ran through berlin.

As I looked down, I winced at every double deck bus which came flying down my back-up landing area.

I called my friend @, waking him from deep sleep.

“Hello, you good?”

“yes, all good… but I need you to be on Sonnelle road within the next 20mins… block a car if it looks like it is going to hit me”

without a moments pause.. my guardian angel rises from slumber and has my bases covered.

As I strap on my parachute, my mind dissolves into a trance. No thoughts, just movement. I give a wave, my signal that I am going and then I leap.

The world rushes past.

I ended up not landing on that main road,  so after all I didn’t need @ but peace of mind is everything.

AN EPIC FLIGHT! Landing on the empty, newly built Autobahn felt surreal and dystopian.

I was joined in the sky  by  @mor on the FPV drone.

I would say that this is the best drone footage I’ve had filmed. Truly remarkable. @ is a wizard.
